Daughter of the Sun Journal Sunday, October 16, 2005 Tomorrow is the start of a new week. I'm looking forward to it and have lots of things on the agenda. It's Sunday night and I'm about to hit the sack. I had an okay weekend. I managed to get the air conditioner out of the window without killing myself or dropping it out of the window and killing anybody else. I divided and repotted an overgrown aloe plant, started work on the bedroom reorganizing and painting process, bagged up some clothing not being used to donate to Katrina victims, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and then treated myself to a luxurious bath. I was so happy to see the sun on Saturday. I don't think I could have taken even one more day of rain. I walked everywhere, partly because it felt so good to have the sun on my face but mainly because the floor on the passenger side of my car has about three inches of water and I wasn't sure how well it would hold up if I attempted to drive farther than a few blocks. So I have lots on my plate this week -- setting up some meetings to get my music heard, meeting with a stockbroker to discuss portfolio options for a client, finishing a couple of songs (including getting musicians in to play bass, guitar and violin), finding a good accountant, and continuing to tacke the mountain of paperwork. I parked on the wrong side of the street so I have to be out by 8:30 tomorrow morning. The plan is to hit the road by 7:30 to have the car at the Saab place by 8:00. Then I'm going to get a daily metrocard and do all of my downtown running around in one day. They'll probably have the car ready for me to pick up by mid afternoon. Then I'll go grocery shopping before heading back home to work on music. So, off to bed I go. More soon...
